Lauren stroked the chestnut horse’s dark mane and gently led the horse out of the stall. Then she skilfully cleaned each hoof and buckled all of the straps on the saddle. Lauren held onto the reins loosely as she mounted the horse. Sitting tall and centred, Lauren was ready to ride.
