📚 Capitalising Titles
What is a Title? |
A title is the name of a book, story, movie, song, or article.
Examples:
- Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
- The Lion King 🦁
- Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star ✨

Important Rule: |
In titles, we capitalize:
- The first word of the title ✅
- The last word of the title ✅
- All main words (nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs) ✅
Do NOT capitalize:
- Short words like a, an, the, and, or, but, in, on, at (unless they are the first or last word) ❌
Example:
- Correct: Charlotte’s Web ✅
- Wrong: charlotte’s web ❌

Tips for Remembering: |
- ✨ First & last words are always capitalized
- ✨ Capitalize important words
- ✨ Skip little words (unless first or last)
