- A.M. means before noon (before 12:00 in the afternoon).
- It covers the time from 12:00 midnight to 11:59 in the morning.
- Examples of A.M. times:
- 6:00 A.M. – waking up
- 8:00 A.M. – going to school
- 10:30 A.M. – morning snack
🌙 P.M. (Post Meridiem)
- P.M. means after noon (after 12:00 in the afternoon).
- It covers the time from 12:00 noon to 11:59 at night.
- Examples of P.M. times:
- 1:00 P.M. – lunchtime
- 5:00 P.M. – playing in the evening
- 9:00 P.M. – going to sleep
🕒 Important Points to Remember
- 12:00 A.M. is midnight.
- 12:00 P.M. is noon.
- A.M. = morning and early hours.
- P.M. = afternoon, evening, and night.
- Use A.M./P.M. to show whether the time is in the first half or second half of the day.
