Now find 2 hours and 30 minutes before 6:15 P.M.

Count back by hours to find 2 hours before 6:15 P.M. This is 4:15 P.M.

Now subtract 30 minutes from 4:15 P.M. This is 3:45 P.M.

Marcy’s basketball practice started at 3:45 P.M.

📢 Manny works as a teller at a bank downtown. On Monday morning, Manny left his house at 7:35 A.M. It took Manny 5 minutes to walk to the subway station. The subway ride to the bank took 30 minutes.

Add the times to find the total elapsed time.

5 min + 30 min = 35 min
